Q: What departments and degree programs does the College of Management and Design offer?
A: In addition to the four departments of Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Management, Industrial Design, and Visual Communication Design (all of which offers a Master’s degree), the college also has an international degree program and a digital design marketing program.
 
Q: What are the requirements for studying the honor program at the College of Management and Design?
A: Anyone who meets the following conditions can submit an application for study:
1.   Students who received the Honors Program Scholarship of our school.
2.   Students of the day-time department of our college who rank in the top 30% of their class (or department) in the previous semester's average academic performance, and have a conduct score of 80 points or above can apply for study.
 
Q:  What are the characteristics of the Honors Program of the College of Management and Design?
A: In order to strengthen students' professional knowledge and enhance international competitiveness, this program is composed of three types of courses: "Intensive English Course", "Advanced Professional Course" and "Special Topics."
 
Q: Is there any incidental job requirement for applying for the "Honor Program" scholarship at the master's level?
A: Students who receive financial aid should volunteer for 40 service hours in the current semester. The service projects and content are managed by the Honors Program Office.
 
Q: What are the qualifications for applying for the "Encouragement of Postgraduate Enrollment" scholarship of the College of Management and Design?
A:
1. Newly graduates from this school (including seniors who are studying for a master’s program) or other schools, who have been admitted to the master’s programs of each department of our school (general students) and their undergraduate scores are among the top 50% of the whole department.
2. Graduates have been enrolled in the master's program of a well-recognized national university and have been admitted to the master's program of our school. Well-recognized national universities are subject those listed in the school's honor program scholarship.
3. Those who have been admitted as pre-graduate students by the various departments of the college, and have special performance, and have been recommended by the heads of the departments.
 
Q:What are the restrictions on applying for " "Encouragement of Postgraduate Enrollment" scholarship?
A:Scholarship recipients are not allowed to receive other forms of scholarships from the school or other departments of the college at the same time.
 
Q: Is there any additional job requirement when applying for the "Encouragement of Postgraduate  Enrollment" scholarship?
A: Scholarship recipients are required to assist in various departments of the College as teaching assistants or other professional service jobs during their studies. The service content is determined by each department, but the service hours should be no less than 40 hours.
 
Q:What are the eligibility requirements and course features of the interdisciplinary creative integration credit program?
A: Students of the master's program and the university department of our school can take this credit course. The characteristics of the course are that the core courses of this credit course are taught in a multi-teacher manner, with one instructor in charge of curriculum planning, and one to three instructors who co-advise. Students are guided in their course study by way of project production.
 
Q:What are the eligibility criteria for students participating in the off-site internship program?
A: Preference is given to students with official student status in our college with Taiwanese citizenship.
 
Q:What is the subsidy for students participating in the off-site internship program?
A:The number of days of subsidized course activities is based on 7 to 14 days; the maximum subsidy is NTD30,000 per person in Europe and the United States; the maximum subsidy is NTD 20,000 per person in Asia; the maximum subsidy is NTD 5,000 per person in Taiwan (including outlying islands) .
